the aircon was absolutely terrible—who knew December could feel like a sauna? the breakfast room was a chaotic mess, perhaps sharing a coffee machine wasn’t the best idea. i thought, surely, i would at least get a complimentary bottle of water. but no, i guess special treatment is only for the lucky ones. just couldn’t give this place a good review.

staying at this hotel was a delight as it's in a central spot just a short stroll to the stunning cathedral and the scenic park views of Plaza de España. We enjoyed some time on the rooftop terrace with a drink after exploring the city.

i really loved the derby! it's perfectly located, just a short walk to the open top bus tour starting point. the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and cozy. the rooftop terrace is a lovely feature to relax and enjoy the view.
